Future Projects
Once considered a declining population, the hamlet of Gwynne and surrounding community has had a resurgence of local events and activities. The Legacy Foundation's desire is for Gwynne to be a place of nurturing and growth and to enable the community of Gwynne to demonstrate the vitality that exists in rural Alberta.

Multi-Purpose Community Building
Developments are in process for a multi-purpose community building on the Gwynne Valley Rural Academy campus which will include a full sized gymnasium, expanded commercial kitchen, shower and washroom facilities.
To support both the needs of the growing enrollment of the Gwynne Valley Rural Academy high school and enhance the Gwynne community at large. This facility will be utilized by GVRA for an educational space, and will also be available as a rental space for local, community events such as weddings, sporting events or community performaces.
